Grocery Shopping

“The best diet is the one you do not know you are on.”  ~Brian Wansink

“I just need a shopping list.”
Not sure where to start?  Here are a few of my favorite shopping lists. My first choice is the Page Fundamental Food Plan. I also like the shopping lists outlined in the One-Degree of Change cookbook (and there are some great tasting recipes, too.)  Please remember these are general guidelines. If any foods were found as “barriers to healing” during your assessment or foods that you know cause issues for you, eliminate those from your shopping list for, ideally, 90 days.

Local Shopping

Superstition Ranch Produce Market Fresh produce at LOW LOW prices! Located in Mesa and Apache Junction.  (Apache Junction seems to have more organic options but that last time I was at Mesa, they had organic options, too.)

Costco now has a large selection of organic fruits and vegetables. While inventory varies month to month, you can often find healthier options.

Whole Foods, Sprouts and Trader Joe’s also have a wide selection of healthier food choices.
More and more grocery stores are offering healthier food choices. Label reading is key. Attend one of our label reading classes, today.
