Food / Symptom Journals

Food / Symptom Journals

Keeping a Food Journal / Symptom Journal is a valuable tool in your journey to better health. It is for you just as much as it is for your practitioner. Keeping a food journal will help us to identify foods and behaviors that may be an issue in helping your body heal itself.

It is best to record what you eat when you eat it, as well as, record how you feel when you notice it. If you try to record what you ate or how you felt at the end of the day it will be less accurate because chances are you will forget a few things.

The best journal to keep is the one you will use.

You can write it out by hand or use a phone app if that is easier for you. The goal is to write/record it when you eat it. I want you to use what works best for you! You will need to provide a copy of your journal at each appointment.
