My Philosophy & Journey
I’ve always been interested in nutrition and wellness, but everything changed when my son was diagnosed with autism and anxiety. That was when I knew I had to do something different.

Hi! I’m Rhonda Miga (“me gah”), a Holistic Natural Health & Nutrition practitioner, and I use Nutrition Response Testing® in my practice.
I believe the path to true health begins with giving the body the nutritional support it needs so it can do what it was designed to do — heal itself naturally. Good health lives within each of us, but life’s challenges can sometimes get in the way of obtaining and maintaining it.
In my practice, I work with each person to uncover what may be blocking their ability to heal. The most common stressors I see are food intolerances, immune challenges, chemical or metal toxicities, and even unresolved scar tissue.
Through Nutrition Response Testing®, I’ve helped women, men, and children address many of today’s health challenges — from stress, fatigue, and poor sleep to weight gain, digestive issues, skin concerns, and more.
At soMEday DECISIONS, you’re an active participant in your own care. We offer individually designed nutrition programs, one-on-one coaching, and small group support. Together, we’ll help you find the right approach for your needs and support you every step of the way toward better health, healing, and personal growth — so you can reach your body’s fullest potential.
I’m a native Floridian, born in Orlando and raised in Jacksonville.
I joined the Army right out of high school. During my service, I became a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) and served for 10 years.
When I left the Army, I dedicated the next 18 years to raising my two beautiful children. It was during those years that I became deeply aware of the healing power of real food — and the harm caused by the Standard American Diet (SAD).
I began to notice patterns. My daughter would get headaches after eating birthday cake, and we learned they were a reaction to artificial color dyes. My son, who was diagnosed with autism at age two, had behavioral changes after eating foods with artificial additives, preservatives, and dyes.
I became committed to making changes — reading labels and avoiding fast food — but it still wasn’t enough. My son’s health and behaviors continued to be a challenge, and I found myself searching for better answers.
The doctors explained my son’s behaviors as “part of having autism.” Their solution was prescription after prescription:
to “control his behaviors”
to “help him sleep”
to “help him focus in school”
The problem was, medications often treat symptoms but don’t address the underlying cause. Over time, this can lead to prescription dependence and unwanted side effects.
That’s exactly what happened to my son. The prescriptions increased, his behaviors worsened, and his physical health declined.
In 2014, after several weeks of no sleep, frequent panic attacks and anxiety, and a 35-pound weight loss, I made the difficult decision to have him hospitalized so he could be detoxed from all prescription medications.
It was that day I said to myself, “Enough is enough!”
After my son’s hospitalization, I made a promise to myself: “I am done with doctors. I’m going to figure this out myself.” That decision led me to enroll at The Institute of Integrative Nutrition (IIN), determined to find a more natural way to help my son. I graduated in June 2015.
While studying at IIN, I met Dr. Kristy Harvell, DC, who introduced me to Nutrition Response Testing® (NRT). For my non-verbal son, this type of testing became his voice. NRT helped us identify exactly what his body needed in order to heal itself.
Finally, something was working!
Encouraged by the results, I wanted to learn more. I attended an NRT weekend seminar and never looked back. I completed Professional Level Training in July 2016 and Advanced Clinical Training in August 2021, both through Ulan Nutritional Systems.
Over the years, I’ve learned that quality health is about more than the food we eat.
The body has an incredible, innate intelligence and the ability to heal itself — but only if we listen to what it’s trying to tell us. How do we do that? By paying attention to the signs.
Symptoms are the body’s way of speaking to us. Think of it like your car: if the “low tire” or “check engine” light came on, you wouldn’t ignore it. So why ignore the early warning signs your body is giving you?
For years, supporting others through education and nutrition came naturally to me. But during the Covid-19 pandemic, when schools and businesses shut down, my own family faced challenges — just like so many others.
This time, I felt helpless and unsure how to support a loved one in need. Then, it finally clicked: the answers I was looking for had to start within myself.
In July 2020, Jennifer White, owner of Clearing for Launch Coaching, introduced me to Morrnah Simeona’s Self-Identity Through Ho’oponopono (SITH) — a modern-day version of the traditional Hawaiian practice of reconciliation and forgiveness.
I immersed myself in learning, eventually becoming an Advanced Ho’oponopono Certified Mentor by completing two courses with author Dr. Joe Vitale and Dr. Ihaleakala Hew Len, and a mini Ho’oponopono Practitioner Course with Toni Puhle.
I also took a 3-month self-discovery course with Dr. Mary Ozegovich at the Radical Change Coaching Academy, which combined her version of Ho’oponopono Healing with the 4 Must Laws. And, in November 2021, I was accepted into the Radical Change Coaching Academy’s coaching program.
I truly believe this was the missing piece — both in my personal life and in my nutrition practice. This training has allowed me to support clients as a whole, because becoming the healthiest version of yourself goes far beyond what’s in your pantry.
At soMEday DECISIONS, we look at the Head, Heart, and Gut to create an individualized program that meets your needs — supporting every part of you on your journey to wellness.
